【意図する】
・intend: 重要なことを意図する時に用い、語気が最も強い
・mean/plan: ～するつもりであるの最も一般的な語
We intend to ask our customer to submit his registration form, but he submitted in advance.
（我々は顧客に登録書類を提出するよう呼びかけるつもりでしたが、彼の方が先に提出してきました。）
My apology. I meant to call you, but I didn’t.
（申し訳ない。電話するつもりでしたが、しなかったです。）
