・vacant: 本来中にあるべきものが一時的に欠けて空いている
・empty: 容器などの中身が空の
・blank: 物の表面に何も存在しない
One of the rooms on the second floor in this apartment are vacant for some months.
（このアパートの二階にある一室は、何か月か空室である。）
